SUMMARY
The Program Coordinator is responsible for scheduling, planning and coordinating of special events and activities for internal and external constituents.
Anticipated Schedule: 20 hours per week. This is a benefits eligible position.
Example of Duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Acts a central contact for groups requesting meeting space, facility use, or catering for activities and special events
Coordinates and monitors event timelines and room bookings
Schedules, promotes, and facilitates internal special events including graduation, presidential events, holiday events, charitable and other events
Schedules and maintains communication with speakers, vendors, and participants
Distributes, reviews and analyzes event evaluations for continuous improvement
Prepares and distributes a variety of publications, materials, and programs for events
Attends meetings and represents FVCC with public; provides campus tours of facilities
Coordinates participation in charitable contribution campaigns
Develops event budgets, monitors expenditures, and creates profit-loss statements and analysis
Develops and utilizes procedures and guidelines for catering and space usage
Maintains accurate records systems and files
Assists and collaborates with catering and campus personnel for events
Reports to Executive Assistant to the President
Performs other related duties as assigned
Minimum
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in related field; OR,
Associates degree in related field and two years of applicable work experience; OR,
Four years of applicable work experience; AND,
Valid Montana driver's license with insurable driving record
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILIITES
Ability to maintain clean and insurable driving record
Ability and willingness to serve as a representative for the College by interacting appropriately with the community
Ability to work within policies and procedures of FVCC
Ability to intermittently work non-traditional schedules including evenings, weekends, etc.
Ability to maintain effective and positive professional relationships
Ability to follow and issue directions
Demonstrated communication, presentation, customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with people from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds
Ability to maintain regular and acceptable attendance levels
This is a _Medium Duty_ job, according to the _Selected Characteristics of Occupations Defined in the Revised Dictionary of Occupational Titles,_ U.S. Department of Labor and Industry._Medium Duty_ involves exertion of 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pound frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds continuously to move objects.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
