Idaho or Meridian Offices Position Summary The primary responsibility of the Teller position is to process financial transactions for customers of Three Rivers Bank's (drive - through and lobby) in accordance with the organization's Mission Statement and Core Values.
Typical scheduled hours will be Monday - Friday.
This position requires flexibility with scheduling and the ability to work at either of our locations.
The position reports to the Retail Supervisor.
Essential Functions oProcess pay and receive transactions to include deposits, withdrawals and cashed checkso Process cash transactions utilizing the cash recyclerso Accept loan payments, payoffs and process loan inquirieso Assist customers with closing accountso Issue cashier checkso Accept and verify change of address requestso Unlock users from online bankingo Order checks for customerso Process foreign currency transactionso Process stop payment requestso Assist with outgoing wire transfer requestso May assist customers with safe deposit rent payments and entrance to boxeso Process bank by mail and night deposit transactionso Process change orders for customerso Complete and review BSA/AML reports when necessary - keep apprised of BSA regulatory requirementso Assist customers with account inquiries and reconciliationo Handle cash and all transactions with accuracy and within cash limit authorityo Balance cash drawer at end of shift, print settlement tickets using cash recycler, research and correct offages Balance ATM casho Process credit card advances, post payments and respond to credit card inquirieso Review and process mobile capture items including items via remote deposits oMaintain knowledge of banking products and services to cross sell to customerso Process work timely and submit batches with minimal errorso Maintain knowledge of bank policies, procedures and regulatory compliance requirementso Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining knowledge of Bank policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations/compliance requirements including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control Additional Responsibilities oGreet customers, smile and be courteous.
o Back up lobby reception by greeting and directing customers both in-person and answering incoming phone calls o May be asked to work in the New Accounts area as/if neededo Willing and able to work at other location as neededo May be asked to review data input for quality control and scan documents into systemo Complete required compliance and educational training annuallyo Must be willing to complete other duties as assignedo Participate in a minimum of two Heritage Club events annuallyo Participate in two Highlander Cross Country or Track events annuallyo Participate in two community events annually sponsored by Three Rivers Bank Skills and Competencies oPrior Banking experience helpfulo Minimum of one year customer service experienceo Must be bondableo Basic accounting knowledge desirableo Knowledge of and ability to use personal computer and 10-keyo Must be able to provide courteous, personal attention to promote individual customer satisfaction and the public perception and reputation of the organization.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
