Inspect and repair vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning, among others.
Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose vehicles to determine the necessary service and reconditioning work.
Perform repairs efficiently and accurately as outlined on the repair order.
Troubleshoot and analyze system issues, coordinating actions to resolve problems effectively.
Document all work performed and manage your time and resources efficiently.
Demonstrate problem-solving skills, overcome obstacles, and make sound decisions.
Maintain a clean and organized shop area, ensuring accountability for all dealership-owned tools at all times.
It would be nice if you had the following, but exceptions are possible.
Previous experience working in an automotive repair shop Experience with multiple makes and models of vehicles.
Comprehensive tool set Certifications & Specific training is a huge plus.
