The Clinic Coordinator position interacts with patients and contributes to the overall patient experience.
The Clinic Coordinator is critical in supporting physical therapists and physical therapy assistants by performing designated unskilled tasks and supporting the Front Office Coordinator to ensure smooth clinic flow.
Essential Functions:
The Clinic Coordinator is capable of multi-tasking between the front office and therapist treatment areas.
The Clinic Coordinator assists the Front Office Coordinator in tasks such as the following:
welcoming and routing patients, answering phones, communicating schedule updates to therapists, and collecting payment for services.
The Clinic Coordinator also performs unskilled patient supportive tasks under direct supervision of a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant when safety or patient care requires a second person's assistance.
Other duties may include outcome measures administration, cleaning, and maintaining the clinic treatment areas.

Physical Demands:
The Clinic Coordinator position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time while lifting up to 50 pounds.
