We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team at the Northwestern Ag Research Center in Creston, MT.
This is an exciting opportunity to work outdoors at the base of the mountains in the Flathead Valley.
Responsibilities:
Seasonal spring/summer position available 30-40 hours per week.
Assist with agricultural farm operations including:
general crop production, research trial establishment, and general grounds keeping.
Field work includes assisting with the establishment and maintenance of research plots, assist in data collection in agronomic studies, and the operation of small farm equipment.
Laboratory work includes data entry, processing plant and grain samples (e.
g.
weighing, counting) and lab maintenance.
